I'm a recent graduate of the Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA) program at the University of Waterloo, with a minor in Computing. What does that really mean? It means that I've developed a well-rounded expertise in design, business, and technology. It also means I have 4 years of hands-on experience working on team-based projects spanning these fields.

From my studies, I learned multiple disciplines including computer science, UX design, photography, visual design, front-end development, and project management, but I enjoyed learning about international business and culture the most. I took advantage of the program's highly encouraged study exchange term and ended up studying at the Singapore University of Technology and Design in my final year. There I took classes from an MIT-based curriculum, including a master’s class despite being an undergraduate! This experience not only expanded my academic horizons but also strengthened my intercultural communication skills.

To further develop my international business knowledge, I worked as a cast member at the Walt Disney World in the summer of 2023, and learned more about effectively creating magic moments for guests to experience! I relocated to Belgium in 2024 on a working holiday program, where I continued to improve my language skills and understanding the world from a new perspective.

With a wealth of international experience now in 2025—having lived in four countries and worked in three—I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with individuals, nonprofits, and large corporations across the globe.
